Thousands of animals have been waiting in the system longer than most people can imagine.

Harter House is a live national visibility platform built for the animals nobody remembers.

Every day, thousands of dogs, cats, and other animals sit in shelters across the United States, passed over, overlooked, and running out of time. We built a system that tracks them and puts them in front of as many eyes as possible. Because the longer an animal goes unseen, the smaller their chance of making it out.

We don't run a shelter. We don't process adoptions. What we do is make sure every animal in our system has a presence, a name, a face, and a direct path to the people who can save them.

The Longest in System register surfaces the animals who have been waiting the longest. The more eyes on them, the better their shot.

This platform exists because two animals changed everything for us. It runs because every animal deserves that same chance.

Find them. Share them. Bring them home.
